Common Issues
TapiCube Does Not Appear Online
Check WiFi credentials, remote config URL/key, store code, TapiCube code, and whether the device is disabled or archived.
Customer Gets Points But Sees An Error
Check the mobile app response, Supabase function logs, notification deduplication, and recent activity. If the device delivered a token, the admin Activity page should show the tap event or rejection reason.
Happy Hour Points Did Not Apply
Confirm the TapiCube timezone, reward window days, start/end time, active state, and priority. Equal priorities use the higher points value.
QR Visit Can Be Reused
Confirm the QR expiry, visit timeout, and latest app build. Expired or previously used codes should be rejected explicitly.
Firmware OTA Does Not Run
Confirm the target release is active, the target version differs from the running firmware, OTA URL is reachable, OTA interval is greater than zero, and the device has enough free OTA space.
Remote Console Is Empty
The console only fills when the firmware posts diagnostic logs. Trigger a remote config failure, OTA failure, or NFC protocol error during testing if you need to verify the pipeline.
Store Manager Cannot See A Section
Check the user role and assigned store access. Store staff see a limited checkout-focused workspace. Store owners and managers see store-scoped tools. Platform-only areas such as Firmware and Platform settings require platform admin access.
Claim Code Does Not Work In WooCommerce
Confirm the code starts with TAPIDU-, the claim channel allows online use, the customer owns the claim, and the claim is still pending. In-store-only claims should be applied from admin Checkout.
Customer Has Points But No Rewards
Check store balances. Rewards should be shown for stores where the customer has points and where active reward tiers exist. If the customer has points from multiple stores, confirm the selected store balance is high enough for that store’s tiers.
Notifications Do Not Arrive
Check that the customer opted into notifications, has a valid Expo push token, and is in the target audience. For manager campaigns, also check platform campaign limits and scheduled delivery time.
Admin Screenshot Or Documentation Looks Outdated
The docs are maintained manually. If the admin UI changes, update the relevant knowledge base page during the same feature pass.
