Overview Dashboard

The Overview dashboard gives admins and store teams a quick read on store health.

What It Shows

• Points activity and customer movement
• TapiCube health and recent reader status
• WooCommerce and Shopify activity when connected
• Store notices and alerts
• A command center with urgent attention items, TapiCube status, and next actions

Command Center

The lower Overview area is curated rather than manually arranged. It focuses on:

• Needs attention: alerts, notification delivery issues, business applications, TapiCube health problems, and recent scan failures. Global platform status lives in the admin header so it remains visible on every route.
• TapiCube snapshot: hardware health counts and the most relevant TapiCubes for the selected store scope.
• Next actions: contextual shortcuts such as activating a store, reviewing applications, processing claims, creating rewards, configuring TapiCubes, checking campaigns, or opening support.

The goal is to tell admins what matters next without making them manage dashboard widgets. Recent scan failures are freshness-limited so old resolved issues do not keep the Overview looking urgent.

Empty Stores

When a store has no activity yet, Tapidu shows a welcome state rather than empty analytics. Once data starts flowing from taps, QR scans, WooCommerce, or Shopify, the Overview becomes more detailed.

Reporting Period

Changing the reporting period changes the visible data window, but should not make established stores feel broken. If a store has lifetime data but none in the selected period, the page should explain that the selected period has no events.

Recommended Daily Checks

For active stores, managers should check:

• whether any TapiCubes need attention
• whether there are pending claims
• whether recent customer activity looks normal
• whether campaigns are scheduled
• whether there are unresolved notices or support tickets

Platform admins should additionally watch business applications, global alerts, failed campaigns, and firmware rollout state.
