Scanner Mode

Scanner mode lets stores award visit points without a physical TapiCube.

How It Works

1. The customer opens the mobile app and shows their visit QR code.
2. A manager or owner opens scanner mode in the app.
3. The manager scans the customer QR.
4. Tapidu validates the code, expiry, store access, and cooldown.
5. Points are awarded and activity is recorded.

Store Settings

Stores can enable or disable QR scanner mode and set QR visit points and timeout rules.

When To Use It

Scanner mode is useful for prototypes, events, pop-up shops, mobile teams, or stores that want Tapidu before installing TapiCubes.
